Goblin Rocket Rally

About Goblin Rocket Rally

The Goblin Rocket Rally was born from the Goblin tradition of The Blood Hunt where Goblin warriors, mounted on dire bats, hunted dragon whelps to celebrate the end of winter. Riches were bestowed upon the village with the largest dragon kill. Their appetite for gold drove villagers to hunt for larger dragon prey. The hunts became deadlier and it was not uncommon for entire hunting parties to perish in the bellies of hungry dragons.
The Blood Hunt changed forever with the appearance of the Goblin riding rocket. Although it is hotly debated by historians, credit is given to Chief Grud Burnbrow for mounting his hunting party on riding rockets for their Blood Hunt. Although over half the rockets exploded mid-flight, the speed boost gave his warriors an advantage, allowing them to take down an ancient dragon. Within two years, the dire bat was replaced by the Goblin riding rocket in all but the most primitive villages.

Rocket pilots became celebrities and raced each other for the bragging rights of being the fastest Goblin alive. The races, which appealed to all Goblin’s love for danger, violence and explosions, drew large crowds. Goblin merchants, seeing the potential to make some coin, gathered in Braytoena Keepand along with the top pilots of their day, created the Goblin Rocket Rally.

Today, the Goblin Rocket Rally is comprised of dozens of races, throughout the realm, watched by millions of spectators. Last season the Goblin rocket Rally generated over ten million gold in profits.
